Can a general User use the mobile app?

In preparation to roll out Samanage, I have been working on some training material. I would like to let the "general" user use the mobile app. Like for Approvals and Tasks and submit new incidents. It appears that when a user submits an incident via the portal they cannot view them in the app. Is this an issue that everyone is seeing?
