Vacation Auto-Reply creating comment

When any of our users go on vacation or are out of the office and an incident status change or comment sends out an email their out-of-office auto reply creates a comment on the incident. Is there a way to disable this on incoming email? We have too many users with limited skills to properly train them how to filter incoming emails to prevent auto reply. We are using GroupWise as our email client.
