How to use application integration to add comments to an incident

I am already using Application Integrations to create other Samanage objects from our service requests, but I would like to add comments to the Catalog Item itself during the workflow progress to keep the requester informed of the progress through various levels of approval.

What variable can i use to reference the INCIDENT_ID of the Catalog Item itself in the URL used in the integration.

The API URL need the ID to add a comment

https://api.samanage.com/incidents/INCIDENT_ID/comments.xml 

 

Also is there a document listing all the available built-in fields that can be used, eg created_at
