We've automated user account lifecycle management using Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM). A large part of the user's lifecycle involves Samanage service tickets. MIM retrieves all sites, assets, and users from Samanage on a 30 minute interval and currently that is only possible by retrieving the entire set of objects. The problem is that as the number of Samanage objects increases - so does the amount of time for the "full import" of data to MIM.
To resolve this, filtering should be used, allowing MIM to retrieve only those objects which have been modified and/or created since the last time it performed an import of data and to achieve this, the "Updated At" attribute that currently exists in Samanage could be used.
I spoke with Tye in support yesterday and he confirmed that there is currently no way to use "Updated At" with a filter.
So my specific question is this; can the Samanage API be enhanced to allow filtering of Sites, Computers, and Users using the "Updated At" attribute?
