Display the number of resolved tickets through the API?

Hello everyone,


I'm looking to create a dashboard that would display the number of tickets incoming and resolved per month.  Additionally I would like to do this YTD as well.  I looked through the documentation and didn't see anything that reference the "State" of the ticket. Is this possible through the API?  If so, has anyone else attempted something similar to this?
