How to handle users with multiple email addresses?

Just wondering if there is a known way to handle staff with multiple email addresses? The issue is that since the user(s) submit their tickets via email - they sometimes use a different email address or variation and then Samanage sees this person as a new user (understandably).


Is there a way to associate more than one email address with a user or to 'merge' users?


For example, I might have email address "" and "" - submitting using each of these addresses distorts the number of users we appear to have in Samanage as well as reporting.
