Trying to configure SAML SSO for the first time

I am trying to configure SAML SSO for the first time but can't get the login to work from the myapps.microsoft.com/signin/Samanage/(code Here).  It always return a “Sorry, but we are having trouble signing you in. We’ve received a bad request.” error page. I must have the setup wrong in some way. But the setup help pages on Samanage are a couple of years out of date with Azure. If anyone has had the same issue could you please point me in the right direction.  Many thanks.
