How can we setup an email notification for Site Mangers for them to receive an email if a ticket was opened even though they are not assigned as a default assignee?
This would be a great opportunity to utilize the "Groups" functionality within the application. You can create a group with your site manager along with the current default assignee, and then assign this group as the default assignee. Whoever is in the group will receive an email notification when a ticket is opened as long as the correct "Notifications" settings are enabled.
