In the list of Status' we have "Awaiting Input" - I don't know what it would be used for and it doesn't fit into our processes; why can't I delete this from the list of available status'?
The "Awaiting input" status is used to see when you are waiting on a customer reply before you can further handle the Incident.You can't delete this state, but you can edit the name to fit your organization's terminology.

We have now added some new status reasons and this has gone down well with our users
