Zapier - Add new Samanage incidents to Trello as new cards

If your team uses Trello for internal communication and planning projects, use Zapier to watch your Samanage account and automatically add new cards to a Trello board when new incidents are added by your IT service desk.

Getting your accounts ready

Samanage You can connect your existing Samanage account to Zapier easily, or you may need to set up a new account first.

Connecting your accounts
Click here to use the Add new Samanage incidents to Trello as new cards zap.

  1. Choose an existing Samanage account from the drop-down menu, or connect a new account.

  2. If you are connecting a new account, enter your Samanage Email and Password .

  1. Click Yes, continue.

  2. Choose an existing Trello account from the drop-down menu, or connect a new account.

  3. If you are connecting a new account, enter your Trello Email and Password.

  1. Click Log In.

  2. Set up the Trello action field settings.

Select the default Board and List to use for new Trello cards from the dropdowns.

Note: You can include any of the data captured by the Samanage incident in the action fields. They can be selected from the Insert fields buttons.

  

  1. Click Save + finish to complete the Zap.


Now test the Zap to make sure it works. Once you're satisfied with the results, you're all set to start automatically creating HipChat messages from your Samanage incidents as they are created.



Note: If you ever want to change this Samanage to Trello integration, just go to your Zapier dashboard and tweak anything you?d like.
