we receive notifications from some of our hardware that reports to us@the helpdesk, but also to the helpdesk of our external partner. 

Before you know it, you have a several hundred tickets regarding this report because our SD is maling to the SD of the partner which reacts to our SD and so on and so on.

Is there any option to disable mail reactions to automated systems? 
sort of exceptions list or so...
