Attaching configuration item in a ticket

I am just starting to use Samanage and was wondering if there is there an easier way to attach a configuration item, in most cases a computer, to a ticket?  It seems like the only way to do it is open the ticket, click configuration items, click attach configuration items, and then search for the person and then check the box and then click attach configuration item.
