Is there a way to to make some Service Catalog items or Catagories only visible to specific groups in the portal?

I would like to create a series of requests/ticket categories that are only available to certain groups - like HR requests. It would be great that when the HR department logs into the portal they could see the service catalog items for new hires, and terminations, but that other employees wouldn't have those as an option.
