Product Update: Enhancements to account backups procedure

As part of our service to you, we provide the capability to backup all the data in your Samanage account. Backup files are exported in CSV format, and can be retrieved by admin users through the Setup pages.


Requesting and managing backups is done under Setup on the Assets section.


You can either request an immediate backup or schedule a weekly backup. A notification email will be sent to the requesting user, or to the selected users, indicating the backup is ready and linking back to the Assets page for further handling.


The Assets page shows the last time a backup ran, and allows you to securely download the backup file.
