We have released to our Labs a new product integration - Samanage to Slack notifications.
This integration enables your admins to set up the connection between your Samanage account and a specific channel in your organization's Slack account.
This will leverage your ability to receive samanage notifications on multiple communication channels to better serve your ITSM needs.
The notifications covered are for new incidents and SLA breaches and will be delivered to a selected Slack channel.
The Slack setup is under your Setup -> Samanage Labs page, as per the screenshot below:
Once you click on the ?Add to Slack? button, you will be directed to authenticate with your Slack account and choose the Slack channel to deliver the notifications to, as shown in the screen shot below. Note: You must login to Slack with an account that has Admin access to retrieve the channel list.
Once this is complete, the new messages will start appearing in your selected Slack channel - as below:
Once you complete this integration, you may consider going to your samanage notifications settings (setup -> notifications) and perhaps disabling some of the email notification if they are redundant in your case.
