Report is not accurate when time frame is "Last day"

So I have a report scheduled to show me the resolved tickets per technician each day.  In the report I use the time frame of "Last day" however the data it reports is incorrect from when I run a query in the actual Service desk and use filters.  I'm assuming it's something to do with the fact that it uses the last 24 hours from when you create it etc, etc, etc...but I can't figure out how to make it work to accurately show me each day how many tickets each tech closed for the entire previous day
