Assigning Tasks to Groups

In our environment we are getting an increase in work between departments in the same Incident. Someone needs the Network Admin team to check a firewall setting, they add a Task - and currently have to assign it to a specific person on the team. Without reaching out to the team first, and checking everyone's workload and availability, this is a blind assignment.

The end result, a request for the ability to assign Tasks to groups. This is already possible in Service Catalog items. As service catalog items share a considerable amount of functionality with Incidents, is this something that could be enabled?
