Multiple SLA Breaches

We use multiple SLA's that are looking at priority and resolution times, set differently for Low, Medium, High and Critical priority levels. When we hit one of the SLA's and it breaches, it also changes the priority level of the incident. So from Low to High, and as soon as that happens, we also breach the High priority SLA based on resolution time. Does anyone know if it can be reset and the time can be started from time of the priority change? We don't want to breach twice everytime it happens.
