We have just released a new update which enables you to define the timeout period for the links in approval emails (for service requests, changes and releases) as well as the links to exported data in email.
Up till now, the default was seven days and could not be adjusted. You now have the ability to change this limit up to a maximum of 60 days.
This should help you in those cases where, for example, the person who needs to approve a change or a service request is out of office for a period longer than 7 days.
This new setup option is under Setup -> Notifications. See following screenshot:
