A question on Groups vs. Individual ticket assignment

I'm wondering how most Samanage users architect their platforms with respect to assigning tickets to "groups" versus "individuals". There is risk in either assignment scenario - "individual" ticket assignments get the attention of the individual, and ensure the workflow; "Group" ticket assignments ensure  backup/redundancy, but risk potnetial loss of attention. Thoughts/opinions?
