Unless I am not understanding the intended process, I believe there should be some kind of connection between Items in contracts, and Purchases.

If I add a software purchase into a proposed contract, this information by default should include everything needed to optionally add that information into the system to log how many copies of what software we have on hand.

I guess when I first setup my first "Contract", I expected these two parts of the system to have some kind of functional connection.
