Task emails incorrectly sent to some users for old tasks

While working to improve performance for tasks that are assigned to groups or relative objects such as requester manager, we inadvertently sent task notification emails for old tasks, including those on completed and deleted incidents.   The emails indicate that a new task was assigned or that that task assignee has changed. 


No action is required on your part, but if you would like to see if any emails were incorrectly sent for your account you can do so by viewing the All Email Logs report under Email Logs in Setup.
