Towards March 2014, Samanage is planning to stop supporting Internet Explorer 8 (IE8). When we will decide to drop support for IE8, it will mean that we will not be making bug fixes or improvements for Internet Explorer 8 in our app after this time.
It is important to note that Microsoft will be no longer supporting Windows XP, the last bastion for IE8, after April 2014. From that point in time, IE8 will become a less secure platform.
By removing Internet Explorer 8 support, we can focus our efforts on providing the best user experience to our customers, accelerating our pace of innovation, and utilizing modern browser technologies. Samanage will continue to support Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) and Internet Explorer 10 (IE10)+, as well as the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. We are providing this opportunity for feedback as early as possible In order to minimize the impact on the way that your organizations use Samanage and to gauge the responses from our customers on our direction.
