We have been scheduling various maintenance tasks such as quarterly UPS battery tests, annual firmware upgrades, local certificate expirations, etc. using recurring internal service catalog items. It is great because we get reminders in the form of service requests as these items come up on the calendar. This also frees us up from having these items on a separate Outlook calendar or junking up our own calendars.
What is missing is a calendar view of all scheduled service request items. This would allow us to look ahead at the day/week/month to see which maintenance tasks are coming due. This would help a tech plan out their month as well as have visibility as to what is already scheduled when scheduling new items.
Please add a calendar view for Recurring Service Catalog Items.
