Create Incidents "on Behalf of" Others via Email

    When you're working for a school, someone often stops you in the hallway and tells you of a problem.  You then walk back to your office.  When you get to your office, you forget who it was and what they asked you to do.


    What's the solution?  The ability to create a new incident in Samanage using only your handy email app on your phone!


    In another vendor's product, I could easily create incidents while wandering around campus by simply using key=value pairs.  For example, I would enter:



    on the first line of an email, and the ITSM would create an incident and put John Doe in as the requester.  This way, I could very quickly and easily create incidents on behalf of other users while I wandered around the campus.


    I realize that I could also do this with the Samanage app, but I'm looking for something even quicker and easier . . . just dashing off a short email.
