(Originally posted on 24, June 2016)Currently there are four types of Contracts: Maintenance, Lease, Subscription, and Software. We are trying to enter Labor contracts into the application, and none of these categories fit that model.
We would thing there is value in one of two things happening....
1. Create a 5th option for "Personnel" or "Labor"
2. Make the "Contract Type" field adjustable, like the CI type field.
The second is far less likely, so I would think, as there are components of the ITEMS & PURCHASES sections of the contact tied to what you select.
If the 1st method is the best option, I envision the ITEMS section might have "Contract/Vendor Company" and "Resource Name" as possible columns.
In the PURCHASES section, allow weekly or bi-fortnightly option for Recurrence to show the pay schedule for the Contractor/Temp/etc...
