(Originally posted on 20, May 2016)It would be ideal, on a service catalog item, if the expected delivery time and a due date variable worked together. Example: If I have a service catalog item for "New Staff Request" and the expected delivery time is 3 days, the item should not allow submission if the due date is beyond the expected delivery date. In this scenario, when the requester clicks submit it should show items in red that need to be addressed and in this case it would say something like "due date is beyond the expected delivery time, please adjust the due date".
