We are a new Samanage customer, and would greatly appreciate the ability to add custom fields to vendors as well.

We have noticed the Vendor module references the Configuration Item module for Custom Fields. Using this, we have been able to "modify" the Vendor Module. There are limitations in the reporting and what is visible on the Vendor Index page. This is not a long term solution, and as of yet I haven't figured out a way to update in bulk (I haven't figured out how to update Custom Fields for the CI module when updating the Vendor module through API), but it may help in the interim.
Any update on this?
We are interested in using the vendors section as a part of our business continuity plan and would like to add custom fields and be able to edit the view to see these custom fields. It would also be helpful to add custom "Reseller type" entries to separate what is part of the BCP and what are true re-sellers, and what contacts are facilities related.
Unfortunately there is no change. Still long term planned.
Well, we've crossed the 4 year anniversary of what appears to be a seemingly trivial request. Is there an update on the timing of the delivery of this feature?
