Currently, there are permissions in Roles to restrict certain types of Service Requests from being created or viewed. For instance, I can prevent a certain Role from being able to make a Service Request into the Internal or Approved States. We would like our IT staff to be able to create Draft Service Requests, but require approval prior to them being used by anyone else. We don't want someone creating a Draft Service Request that's being used by other staff that hasn't been reviewed/approved.
The ideal workflow is that our staff would create a Draft Service Request, which would then trigger an approval process from our team managing Samanage. Once it's been reviewed, it will either be denied, modified, or changed into either Internal or Approved.
Is this possible today and we just missed it? Or is this something that might be possible to do in the future?
