I also agree this would make the process by which I'm building the KB for my team incredibly simple!
I currently have a template solution in the Solutions module that I'm asking the team that if they create a solution to follow the guide, but I would also like to tweak the request a bit. Could it be possible to set a solution template so that any time a service desk user creates a new solution, they are presented with the organization approved layout and content guideline template?
