(Originally posted on 8, May 2014)The notification emails that go out to the end user have a US date format (mm/dd/yy) irrelevant of what the service desk settings and timezone are set to.
This should either be the same format as the timezone, or a configurable option.
A way around this is to list the date out in full (May 9th 2014) which would avoid any confusion.
e.g. if i raise a ticket today, the 9th of May, the date on the notification email that the end user receives will be 05/09/14. this is fine if you are in the US, but in a European date format country (such as Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Israel) the end user would read this as the 5th of September.
