Since I am only using SAManage for tracking IT assets (we use zendesk for our help desk), my users do not need SAManage accounts. I do need them to be entered into the SAManage system so that I can track what assets they have, but I have to create an account for them using a dummy email address. This then becomes a problem when I'm importing an asset list (.csv) since the system uses email addresses to recognize users during imports.I also try to keep the number of sign ups low for my users as they tend to forget passwords and get frustrated when there's yet another thing they have to log-in to.
