Now Available: Service Portal Facelift

We’re excited to announce that our Service Portal has had a facelift! In order to modernize the look and feel, and make room for new functionality, we are releasing phased enhancements to our service portal.

These enhancements will lead to:


  • Greater customization for your portal experience
  • Improved search capabilities lets people find relevant solutions and catalog items
  • Friendlier mobile view makes it easy for your requesters to use the portal from anywhere


Since this is impacting requesters, and in order to reduce organizational friction, we wanted to make sure that you can roll this out at your own pace. This feature is available for you to turn on in the Labs section of setup and we will update you before we switch to the new portal for everyone.


Once you get to Labs, toggle the option on when you're ready to go live:




To ensure you know exactly what your requesters are going to see, you will be able to preview your portal before you go live by adding a ?show_preview=true to your portal URL.

We also created a guide with design suggestions to ensure that your portal looks its best.

UPDATE: We will be making the portal LIVE for all accounts on January 28th, 2018. Please plan accordingly.
