Samanage is excited to announce that we will be adding filtering capabiliities for Requesters via the Service Portal. This enhancement will let Requesters easily refine subsets of data from the Service Portal to reference things like past requests, tasks, approvals, and solutions articles. These are similar to the filtering capabilities available in the technician view of the application.
This Feature will be available on the:
- My Request Tab
- Solutions Tab
- Task/Approval Tab
This will be released shortly after the enhancement for Adding Categories/Subcategories for Solutions Articles. We recommend creating Categories and Subcategories to your Solutions before this release to give your requesters better filtering criteria.
This enhancement scheduled for release the week of September 17th, 2017, giving you adequate time to Categorize your Solutions Articles (see above post) . Please contact your Customer Success Manager for additional assistance and support during this transitional process.
