We are excited to announce the latest feature release for Samanage customers with JIRA Software Cloud Integrations. One of our most popular feature requests was to add the ability to send the original requestor's information from Samanage directly to a specific JIRA project, rather than to a generic JIRA list of incidents assigned to a technician. We heard your request for a tighter integration with JIRA and ran with it.

 

Our new, enhanced JIRA integration allows you to send the original requester information to JIRA and enables admins to select which JIRA projects are active in Samanage. This allows technicians to assign a Samanage Incident directly to a specific project in JIRA. In addition, technicians can assign a JIRA issue type (e.g., Task, Incident, Change, Epic or Story) to the incident from within Samanage. 

 

Once a resolution is found, Samanage can notify the original requester directly, ensuring business continuity and customer satisfaction.

 

Life for everyone using JIRA with Samanage is about to become much easier. A tighter integration provides both Samanage and JIRA users a more efficient and less error prone way to manage business. Now you can escalate incidents to JIRA projects with ease.
