You Can Clone Problems, Changes and Releases with Ease

The ability to clone an Incident has been a valuable time saving feature for some time. Samanage is happy to announce the same capability is available for Problems, Changes and Releases. With a simple click, you can now quickly clone these items, increasing your accuracy and efficiency, saving you valuable time.


Cloning an item copies all of the information of the item being copied over into a new Problem, Change, or Release with a single click. Service Agents then edit the attributes that are unique such as: title, who it is assigned to, relevant dates, etc., while keeping everything else the same.


Cloning saves your Service Agents time and can increases accuracy. Take a look at the screenshots below to see how easy it is to take advantage of this new feature.


Clone a Problem:

Once you select the cloning task to be performed, simply change the desired attributes of the Problem, Change, or Release to suit your needs.
